Hello - I live in Manchester, United Kingdom and last night at midnight I took photographs of what I believe are the wave type noctilucent cloud formations. Please excuse me if I haven't described them correctly. They were fascinating, very easy to see and had a sort of glow about them! I've attached photos that I thought you might like to see (please excuse the terrible photography)!

I am sorry to say that you didn't caught NLC but tropospheric clouds illuminated by the light of the moon. It is not the season for NLC on northern hemisphere (will start at the end of May approximate). But the structures you observed are really great to watch them illuminated by night and if you will have some luck this summer you might see something like this which can be NLC then. Good luck, Olaf
