Another frustrating display seen from Kendal last night into this morning... hints of lovely structure behind the murk and crud, but no chance to watch it develop as cloud rolled over Kendal shortly after 1am... Grrrrrrrrr..... The NLC are laughing at us this year... www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=183787&id=543617930&l=67228c2b83

Hi, here in Rostock / Northern Germany it was not frustating. Sorry, top observing conditions plus weekend feeling. 2.3 MB Xvid movie, direction NNW, f=50mm, 68 minute sequence, 8 files per second. More details see first image (stop movie). 3sky.de/NLC/NLC2/2010/100625/xvid_nlc20100625_6074bis6328_8fps_768x512.aviIn the NE part there was a development of a bright structured display. Some may have seen on the IAP cameras. Here is a single image 00:19 UTC (f=50mm, t 6", 200 ASA): Complete display became higher but was weak there. Visual height approx. 30°, photographic = more: f=16mm, t 15", 200 ASA, direction of view in the middle is N, 00:47 UTC Regards, Olaf
