Hello, I had a go at a moonlight timelapse on February 18-19. Using the Canon 600D camera in Movie Mode with Magic Lantern added to the card to slow down the the frame rate to one frame every four seconds. I seem to have picked up faint aurora activity - 00.33 to 01.18UT You can see the result here. Camera pointed NW in the direction of Perseus. www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_MigZeVcDQCheers! Jimmy

Nice timelapse. It look like a good way, to silence the camera shutter and reduce the wear and tear on the shutter mechanism.

Many thanks! I look forward to trying it on NLC's in the summer. Saving the shutter from firing constantly should be a real bonus.
