Hey, my first observation of NLCs this evening and in this year, through cirrus! the NLCs was very bright and clear to see! A great display, to see until Austria!

From Hungary (just the W country part) many could also see the show. I only had a limited view because of trees and clouds covering the brightest parts.. A pic of the part I could observe

Dear readers, As Heiko mentioned above an extended NLC-display was seen over Central Europe. I observed the clouds from 20:10 until 20:55 UT. Height: 12° Azimut: 306° - 0° - 034° Forms: I, IIa, IIb, IIIa, IIIb It was one of the best displays I have ever observed in Austria till starting looking vor NLCs 21 years ago.
