What a surprise that night in Rostock, Germany, Baltic Sea. Very good visibility but clouds, too. Automatic camera in sector 300 - 330 couldn't catch any NLC because of tropospheric clouds. Northern camera (350 - 030) with 2/50 mm catched them - very faint at the beginning - very low in N from 22:50 UT on in total up to 01:10 UT. During a short visual inspection around 23:30 UT I saw some faint shades with the 12 x 50 binocular but did not realized that this was NLC.
