Last night in most of Russia, the first silver clouds (NLC) of the current season were observed.

Clouds were observed from Krasnoyarsk in the east to St. Petersburg in the west.

On May 23, 2020, silvery clouds (NLC) were observed west of Tomsk and east of Perm.

On May 29, 2020, silvery clouds were observed at least from Omsk to Irbit (Sverdlovsk Region - Urals)

NLC June 21/22, 2020 were observed from Novosibirsk to Moscow.

From Vologda to Kharkov and Kirovograd. In Moscow, clouds appeared shortly after 22 hours (19:00 UT) in above the southern horizon at 20 degrees.

Two nights to the NLC series were observed in the North Caucasus, Special Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). It is 43 degrees north latitude.

The current season pleases with the unusual southern observations of the NLC.

If earlier clouds were observed in the Russian North Caucasus.


In the last two nights, silvery clouds were observed in the morning hours in Astrakhan (46 degrees north latitude).
