Congratulations Matthias! A nice image you've got there No sign of any from my location right at the moment - semi clear skies - though I shall keep looking... *Edit - good work there too Karl*

Very Nice I need to get me a fixed observation point when i'm photographing NLC's... I made a GIF yesterday, though it was of confetti being thrown at the bride and groom at a wedding I went to on Friday - I think we'll stick with your GIF instead though Deepsky

Congratulations Karl, Matthias and Deepsky. Really nice images and an impressive animation! The clouds in the central part of Hungary were too thick, so neither me nor Ediacara (we live right between Deepsky and the Austrian observers) could see the NLCs yesterday.

Hi, due to many clouds I had no good view here in NE Germany. But at last I could catch NLC in a cloud gap. The surprise was that the gap was in far eastern direction. So I detected the NLC bands in AZI ~080-110°. Regards, Olaf

I am a little yealous. Exactly this evening I was flying from Cologne to London and had a great view north at almost the perfect time for NLCs. But there was nothing to see.
