You do not need to have an yahoo! acount. You can join the group just by mail.
Every single person who wants to join needs to be activated by me (or some future moderators) to avoid having robots sending SPAM to the list.
You can only send a warning over the List if you are a member.

Wow, things have moved quickly with this over the past couple of days - spring has certainly sprung! I've signed up for it Andre, my membership is 'pending' atm. I'm completely with Andres line of thinking here with regards if there is a minimal cost to the service, if it allows me to see a few more NLC displays that would otherwise pass me by then I think it's more than worth it. I'm happy, and obviously if others are happy, to be a mod for this if we need other mods for it... Am I right in my understanding of the way this service works is that an alert is generated by an individual, it gets sent / forwarded to members of the group, but then individuals within the group can choose to have the message forwarded to their mobile phone in the form of a text for a nominal fee? Great work with this Andre!

I just thought it might be a good time to push this up again.
Eveyone who wants to join the warnlist can do so either on the website (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/nlcuk/) or by sending an e-mail to the adresses stated at the bottom of the page. Please see the guidelines before use or ask.
