Dear readers,
After the marvelous display yesterday evening and one NLC in the morning today I watched the next NLC some minutes ago in Austria. The brightness was just 1. The azimuth extension reached from 334 - 000 - 018°. Elevation: to 18°.
Best regards,
Karl

almost exactly the same weather conditions with the clouds clearing enough for a good view into the west after sunset and.... Nothing, ziltch, nada, not a whisp, loop, whorl, wave, streak or hole anywhere in sight! Pete

Hi Pete and all,
I am really annoyed too, I have been talking the public and academics about them all afternoon and suggesting they look tonight and now NOTHING in Bath, arh!!!
My abstract for a photo I presented on NLC's linked to my research won a prize tho, so a cool day.
