Next photo taken 30 minutes later. Same location in the southern sky, the top of the NLC is aprox 45-50 degrees from the horizon looking south. Exposure: 2 seconds, f/3.3, ISO-100 Taken: 7/21/2009 1:25am  This third photo is not as impressive as the first two. This is also taken south, looking out toward the city of Iqaluit. Time: 12:55am, July 21, 2009.  |

Thank you for the reminder the times were:
0454z and 0525z respectively. (-4 to get LST).
A friend near Winnipeg, MB, Canada reported seeing the same NLC roughly 30 minutes before I took these observations. If he took photos I will ask him to upload if possible.
