Good to see you caught them Pete After my false alarm earlier in the Early Warning forum they really did appear here in Mid Wales just under an hour later in the north. Not my best view as it is partly blocked by the trees around the canal bridge. You get quite a nice glow from Oswestry on the underside of the clouds though ;D 21.48UT 21.49UT 21.47UT 22.01UT

I observed this NLC from Mogyoród, Hungary. There were bluish lines above the volcanic red horizon by NW-N at 19:25 UT. I saw these lines about 20 degrees altitude. The display lasted about 40 minutes. 19:36 UT 19:46 UT 19:50 UT

I went out early and photographed some Sarychev Nlc's and thought it was all over so I drove home. Plugged in the flash card to down load the pics and let the cat out when I spotted the begining of the real Nlc display so I loaded the car up again and drove back on to the hill. Pete

we had clear skies last night but no NLC's. There were faint traces of the Sarychev volcano dust just after sunset. Pete
