What is really apparent to me as I look through the cameras viewfinder and move through the lens zoom range (18-50mmf2.8) is the increase in detail and structure that is visible at the longer focal lengths ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) ![](http://i17.tinypic.com/5zr40nq.jpg) It does appear to be fading slightly though now ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

Excellent images guys. There appeared to be a huge display from Strangford last night (my first so far this year)which I could only glimpse through clouds. Managed to get a few shots. If only the clouds would have cleared.
