I've seen quite a few NLC's whilst walking across the fell after getting off the last bus on the way to friends who live in Butterknowle , just up the road from you

It's mainly clear here in the west midlands at the moment, I kinda 1/2 expect the front that is coming in from the west will hide any NLCs from me, however linear overhead has slightly better odds

It's been that unsettled weatherwise in the UK for what seems like so long it surprised me when looking earlier how much lower venus is sinking into the west in the twilight
