Yeah well done guys Was cloudy agin last night here in the west mids Looks like tonight will too Off to friends up in County Durham this weekend, their guest bedroom faces north and i've seen a couple of displays there before. Just checked on metcheck and saturday night looks promising so hopefully see some then The spaceweather article has a link to images from the past several NLC seasons archived and spotted quite a few names from off this forum there too, some nice pics

Thanks very much Jo and Mark for the mention! The cool thing is that the SW mention will get many other observers on the look out for more NLCs which will be very exciting. Looks like this is going to be an excellent season! Hope you get clear skies and NLCs for your trip

I am expecting SW to be covering many more NLC displays this season. It is great publicity for these phenomena. While watching the ISS pass last night I was wondering if the astronauts on board were taking any images of the recent NLCs from Earth orbit?
