Hi, Yesterday I received a batch of images of unusual cloud. The only details I have are that they were 'taken from Treasure Key in the Bahamas a few days ago'. I've posted a few sample images below. Any suggestions as to what type of cloud this is? Tom

Those are incredible and very bright. I have no idea what they are. Was there a rocket launch in the area in recent days? Could be man made NLC which appeared on SW a few days ago. Anybody any ideas on this?

Could it be exhaust trails from the recent shuttle launch? That was from florida so the bahamas aint too far from there... It's where i'd put my money

Before I read any replies I was thinking a rocket launch lol. It's really bright compared to the sky and other clouds in the background isn't it?

Any suggestions as to what type of cloud this is? I finally have some more information on this report. The images were taken on June 8th between '7 & 9'. Assuming the time is PM then I think we can safely attribute the clouds to the shuttle launch. Tom
