Hi folks, no NLC in the night 06/07th June, but, surprisingly - a weak aurora... All images were taken with a Canon EOS 60D, Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 (12 seconds exposure time at F/2.8 and ISO 1250). First activity was recognised at 22:46 UTC - very weak purple beamers and glow: Crop: 22:52 UTC - a weak purple arc in the right half of the image: A second activity started at 23:39 UTC with reddish beamers: At 23:48 UTC another weak purple arc was visible in the images: Time Lapse including 110 images (1min interval) , taken between 22:08 UTC and 00:24 UTC - the two phases of enhanced activitiy are clearly visible at second 00:15 (22:44 UTC) and second 00:37 (23:39 UTC): vimeo.com/67874021Lucky me, even without NLC's... ;D Cheers, Mathias

Hi all, Had the cctv camera out again last night but clouded out. Interesting formations in their own right but only the possible hint of nlc thorugh the breaks, nothing confirmed. Cheers, Bill.
