Some very faint NLC was captured on a video timelapse on 05-06 June. A patch of wave type structure that was showing a small east to west movement. It was too faint to survive the journey via youtube compression despite uploading the original MOV file from the camera. A single frame from the timelapse can be found on my Flickr. www.flickr.com/photos/65012574@N08/sets/72157633970874999/Jimmy

Hi Jimmy, Well spotted! I've had some lovely weather but overnight orographic cloud forms due north coming over the Hill Of Stake! Regular as clockwork and a real pain in the bum! cheers, Bill.

Hi Bill, Thanks! Sorry about your regular clouds. Definitely a pain! Being in the 'top bit' of Scotland means that I am close to the North Sea 'haar' but the west coast is also nearby with not much protection from clouds drifting in from there. Just have to keep watching for the gaps.
Jimmy.
