Finally made the timelapses from the night of 22.07.2014 0241 to 0332 UTC + 2 hours towards the north-east. Bright star is Capella.
I miss focused the camera a Panasonic G6 with a Taken with a 14mm F2.5 Pancake Lens (28mm fullframe equalient field of view) cropped to 16x9 1920*1080 for video. This camera is very practical beacuse it has an electronic shutter(which is dead silent) which support shutter speeds up to a second and has built in timelapse setting. Interval is 2 seconds and playback speed is 30 frames per second, so 1 second of video equals one minute of realtime. If one closes the flipable lcd screen and leave the electronic viewfinder sensor on, very little current is used by the camera and therefore the small battery last quite long.
A second timelapse with close up detail will be coming later today. I also have two timelapses from the display of 22/23.07.2014 which I will post when they are ready hopefully today. Rendering takes quite a while and I do not dare to leave the computer running while I am at work in the heat wave we are experiencing here in southern Norway with 30° C.
