Oh its really very beautiful! Have you checked your original image (I mean the big one) for comet McNaught? It should be there.

I have looked at the original images. Yes, there is a greenish point near Capella and this point has moved a little bit relatively too the stars around in one hour. But the focal length of my pictures was 35mm(52mm on normal 35mm films) only, so the comet is only a half dozen or so of greenish pixels, not more. This is also visible on the picture above. I have also watched the sky around Capella with a 20x60 binocular during the picture recording. It was difficult to find the comet. The sky was to bright in this direction. Here the sun goes only 12° below the horizon at this time of the year.
