Hi reckett, is that "the" hill on stockbridge down? me and my friend have observed Aurora from there before, infact its the only place we have seen aurora, its a very nice observing site! welcome to the NLC forum!

Hi Jay,
The Hill is Cowdrove Hill, to the west of Kings Somborne. Stockbridge Down and Farley Mount also provide excellent views across the North and North West. Farley Mount - N51.03.36 W 001.26.00 is the spot from which the best unrestricted views can be had.

Yeah me and my friend are quite familar with farley mount, seen NLC from there before, its usualy other things that glow in the dark which attracts us to farley mount, glow worms!
