Picking up a faint band in my NNW sky height about 25° - N Scotland. Also some fairly high cloud drifting up from the south after the showers.

I can confirm faint bands visible from Durham, to no more than 10 degrees altitude and revealing a little finer structure with binoculars.

I should clarify that my observation above was of the Western portion only. Stepping outside the Eastern portion of the dispay extends a little higher in altitude.

Hi bassar, Nice pictures and welcome to the forum.
There's some info elsewhere on the forum but can I ask that the full size image be kept to around 800-1000 pixels. It's not rigid but it helps with bandwidth control.
cheers, Bill.

Hi Bassar,
That would be great but don't worry about being too precise. Everybody does something slightly different to suit their own style. Cheers, Bill.
