The spaceweather.com webpage now has an image of the latest location of NLC from the AIM satellite. It seems to take a couple of days to assemble the image so is not much help for nowcasting but should give a good indication of how far south they have reached. Current NLC seems to be at about 80 N with a bit approaching 70 N over Russia. There are also images of 'NLC' linked to this page but they need to be looked at with caution as some are clearly not NLC. Some of them look quite convincing but the dates seem very wrong like Jan & Feb in the Northern Hemisphere. John Murrell
