Tomas Trzicky's early warning post with links to the webcam in Pec pod Snezkou, Czech Republic, has reminded me it's about time that we had a list of live webcams that could be used for checking NLC. It would certainly keep interest up when weather conditions don't allow direct observing! If anyone knows of any such webcams could they please post the url's here, or, send them to me directly?
Thanks!
Tom

The Eskdalemuir webcam has shown aurora before today when a decent display has been on . Very frustrating when I am sat under cloud further south in Yorkshire.

The UK Met Office webcams are extremely good with full-sky mosaics and the ability to zoom individual panels. Here's the link: www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/webcam/index.htmlI'm collecting the urls' posted here and have a few others I've found while browsing. I'll try to compile a web page this week sometime.

Hi, ok ok - next summer is far away... but the IAP in Northern Germany has renewed their homepage and now we will find an "IAP NLC Camera Network" overview. www.iap-kborn.de/index.php?id=128&L=1(incl. weblinks to "old" videos!) Stations: Trondheim, Norway Calar Alto, Spain Pic du Midi, France Kühlungsborn, Baltic Sea Germany + 3 further more cams in Germany So long Olaf
