Actual mesosphere temperature now???

someboday knows the actual temperature...its now mid may...is there something to expect? somebody have the temperature and vapure plot of this year?

There is no sign of NLC on the 'Daily Daisy' posted on Spaceweather.com so far. Hope we get better results than the rather weak season in the south last southern summer.

If you have not read it there is an article on spaceweather.com about the unusual southern hemisphere NLC - very few seen whenm there should have been a peak.

Solar activity is in general falling and if it is correct NLC activity is inversley proportional to solar activity this may give some hope for a reasonable season.

there are first signs that the NLC season is starting. On May 4, and today there were significant PMSEs on the MAARSY-Plot.
MAARSY is located at Andenes (69°N). You can follow the real time plot at www.iap-kborn.de/fileadmin/user_upload/MAIN-abteilung/radar/Radars/MAARSY/Plots/maarsy_dbs_meso_pow24.png .

(What you can see there are NO NLC but PMSE (Polar Mesosphere Summer Echoes).)
