Hi,
What a lovely wide field shot!
In the 30 years since I first observed NLC I have never seen it with an aurora.
Glad to see someone is at least getting to see something.
This has been my worst nlc season for over a decade!

It's rare but there is a two, three weeks period around August when it's possible, atleast here in southern Finland. Within three days we night get even stronger auroras. Perhaps with NLC:s. Yes, this season has been a slight disappointment. It started early and in june there was several ok-ish displays. But when july came, I've sen one good display. Usually there can be several in a week :/ |
