My first of the season, arrived late in the pre-dawn, drifted north-west before the sun came up. Attachments:

Seen from Carshalton South of London as well. Nothing seen in the NE where they should have been. Interesting to look at the EUMetSat Cloud Top Height Images and the Fog images. There was low cloud NE of my location over the North Sea and medium level around 8 to 10 km above Norway. I will do some cropping of the images and post something later when I have checked the EUMetSat copywrite.
Nothing seen on my images of the evening of the 21st June 2018 from my location.

My Image of this mornings NLC from Carshalton, Surrey, UK is here:
Unusually for a morning image this was visible in the NNE with nothing being visible in the N or NW.
Image taken today 20180622 – 021031 UTC From Carshalton Surrey, England.
Approx 51.2N 0.2W
Canon 10D – 0.5sec ISO800 f2.8 AWB fl 18mm but this is a part of the full image
The NLC was in the NNW with nothing visible further east which is unusual for a morning observation. According to the EUMetSat images there was a gap in the cloud between Scotland and the N Sea and Norway. Not sure if this was related to teh NLC only being visible over this small arc.
The Lamp post is at 348 degrees from my ‘observatory’.
