Hi Les, Good to see you here. I caught this one above cloud at 2336 UT but it's virtually overcast now. 6 secs @ f3.5, 2356 UT, Glengarnock.

That's a very nice image Tom! I was overcast last night and by the looks of things I missed a very nice display. This one was widely seen last night.

I got this one at just before 11pm. 18mm f2.8, 1.6s, iso1600 They're low toward the horizon here in the midlands, then, usual story, in rolls the cloud...

I was keeping a close watch on the northern sky last night but saw nothing. I gave up and was walking back to the house when I noticed that there was some very faint NLC overhead and to the east. It was just barely visible to the naked eye, but with the camera set to 3200 ISO and a one minute exposure I was able to bring out some details. The exposure was at the extreme end of my camera's capabilities, so there is a lot of discoloration and noise in the image.
