A paper has been published describing the reasons for the high frequency of NLC in 2019. A summary is at Article Page and the published article is at Publishers Page . Unfortunately it is pay to view unless you have access via an institutional account, however the abstract is worth reading.
I have put this post here rather than in the 2019 section as it is of general interest and I am not sure how many people read the older years posts.
Lets hope 2021 is a good year for NLC

Thanks John. This board itself needs some help, it doesn't seam to be moderated at all over the last year or so? And lost the regular posters, which is a shame. Is the forum owner missing? I prefer to use this forum rather than social media, and I use a computer not a phone, but maybe this board has had its day and we ought to be somewhere else? I'm already watching for NLC ofc...
