Beautiful NLCs. Lovely capture of the lower clouds silhouette versus the reflected brightness of the NLCs. Plenty of different structures to study as well. Very impressive for a first-time experience.
Absolutely torrential rain in Scottish Highlands tonight so no chance of NLCs here.

Looks like NLC to me. 2 other reports have arrived from Oregon (Lat 43 and 46). If possible could you submit more details on this display via the online form at: www.nlcnet.co.uk/submit.htm It would also be worth contacting Mark Zalcik at NLC CAN-AM on this. Tom

Hi and welcome. Congrats on your sighting last night which going by your images looked to be a very bright complex NLC display. Was that your image on spaceweather.com today? if so then well done! Getting NLCs, crescent Moon with ES and Venus in the one image is quite a feat.
