Hi The regulars on here may be aware of this, but I could not find a specific link to the info. and thought it might be worth posting up. I was looking around the AIM satellite website and found that their Library tab on the top of the home page takes you to a vast list of papers published on NLC's, many of which are downloadable in PDF format. Take a look here aim.hamptonu.edu/library/2refs.htmlTheir data sets are also interesting, particularly the CIPS instrument polar images showing NLC's on a daily basis from above - a shame that they are not more real-time though as they could be very useful for predicting when to observe!
