clear skies to the north and nothing again. I'm begining to think Richard Angwin maybe onto something with his idea that ice crystal form on meteoric dust high up in the stratosphere. The Lyrids have finished and the NLC's seem to have died away. Hmmmm. PeteG

nothing here again tonight but I bought my 9 year old daughter Sammy a Bat Detector which really added some spooky quality to tonights observing.
Jo, if you get one of these people won't approach a woman yelling at the sky in the dead of night with the sound of screeching bats flying around your head! LOL PeteG

your probably right but they looked amazing anyway.
The mist arose and blocked the 3rd ISS flyover I was hoping for a shot of the ISS flying above the Nlc's.... Pete
