I just come in from my observation site. Seems the field was pretty compact over Germany. Nothing obvious visible from Bath. Probably a very weak Type I like veil at alt < 5° but I am not sure yet, need to look more carefully at the images tomorrow.
Great images from Germany though!

Great pics guys!! I didn't even look last night as I went to bed early feeling rubbish Hope I feel up to it tonight tho as I finally convinced my hubby to drive me round on Monday night to find a good observing site and we found one. Unfortunately I didn't see anything that night but I know where to go now next time there's a display. Jo x

Hi Rubbish on Anglesey for the evening sector, but dragging myself out of bed at 00:20UT was well worth it. Great images. That would have been a nice candidate for the warnlist to wake others up for the display. Cheers, André

Wow gorgeous photo's and timelapse Pixaerial. Wish there were such locations near me to observe and capture the clouds . That obviously adds up to the photographic nature of the display. Netherlands also got a display last night. It wasn't a huge display but it was a smaller one located more NNE / NE. Despite it's size it showed much finer detail and was nice to observe. Camera: Canon EOS 450D Exposure 2.0 seconds & 4.0 seconds Interval: 10 seconds Duration: 23:07 - 00:00 Photo's: 313 Framerate: 10 frames per second Youtube op High QualityYoutube op High Definition

I'm an automaton after waking up at that time, and with a PC that takes several precious observing minutes to fire-up, I doubt I would have got round to it, anyway! Ok, that is a bit anoying. I usualy send it from my mobile while I am observing. It's a shame this field was not drifting to UK earlier. André
