A lovely display here in hampshire, i saw it completley by fluke, as it has been cloudy all day but i just glanced out my window and saw one of the best displays i have seen, despite the fact there was a lot of low level fast moving cloud i still managed to snap a few pics which from first glance look to be soem of my best NLC pics yet! (i havnt uplaoded them yet) i will get on and do that now and hopeully have them posted here shortly, i would estimate the maximum elevation at the peak of the display was 40 degrees and i could see it from the north west to the north, my location wasnt the best and i had a lot of buildings in the way, the display may well ahve streched to the north east but i didnt want to waste time running around trying to see how big the display was, i just wanted to enjoy it becuase there was so much cloud blowing over it could have become totaly overcast again so i would have missed the display. I first noticed it around 22:15 BST and i stopped observing at 22:50 as the cloud was building up again and i think the display had started to fade
