I love to be proven wrong, so my guess would be about the second week in August for my (53ish degree) latitude. A week or two longer further north, a week or so earlier further south. Maybe it'll copy the solar minimum and just keep on going! J. Hope your prediction is right John. I've seen NLC in Perseids week a couple of times, but several years ago, in Anglesey. Would be nice to see them again this year. Maybe with an 'extended' solar minimum they will poke out later in the season than normal  |
