Update 21:20 UTC The NE part faded away BUT there came new patches in N up to NW up to 20-30° height. Now the complete horizon (WNW - NNE up to h ~6-8°) shows NLC. Brightness 4 in N. So Tom + John + .. +.. + .., don't get asleep. It seems to be an wide area display (I hope so for you). Olaf Update: 2040 UTC 2101 UTC

Had a peer from the door just before logging-on here - nothing so far and for the first night in ages it's starry!
Think it might be a "set the alarm early" night again - at least if it's cloudy I can just crash again!
