Dinosaurs, mmm.... However, whilst keeping an eye on the sky for any signs of the ash cloud I caught a nice view of Venus, Mercury and a slender crescent moon. Picture of the Moon and Mercury at around 9.30pm last night. Cheers, Bill.

Great shots guys! I think this volcano could be quite interesting for us, with the sunsets becoming better as time goes on. At the moment there seems to be some evidence of coloration, but nothing the untrained eye will probably notice. The past couple of nights you can see a hazy band when the sun gets within a couple of degrees of the horizon, hopefully this will grow in size and brilliance
