may have seen faint NLC from Hampshire tonight, glowing bands more prominent in the north west quite low on the horizon. I shall post a link to a photo on my photobucket page rather than post a pic here as its not a definate sighting. photos taken at 21.56

So you think it may be NLC? i wasnt really sure, i didnt notice any features and thought it might be just sunlight lighting up faint bands of clouds, but there is s possibility of it being NLC, I would appreciate others opinions.

Here is the enhanced photo.

I made a mistake, i said they were in the north east but i meant north west (i corrected that) Venus is visible above and to the left of the pylon. so thats right where the sun has set but its interseting how getting rid of the streetlights does seem to make the NLC like bands stand out more, I'll remember that in future.
