Couldn't go out to take better pics as I've had a drink but extensive NLC seen from Falkirk, Central Scotland
Above 45 degrees of horizon viewed from West to North from limited visual location. Bright 23.45 BST

Hi,
NLC present behind heavy tropospheric cloud around 01.00 BST. No real detail discernable through very small gaps.

Valley mist and non NLC cloud to 7 oktas did not totally obscure the NLC display on the night of July 07/08 from Elland in the hills of West Yorkshire. Judging on the brightness there must have been a great display further north towards the Borders.Observed between 23:20 -23:45 UT but stopped observations due to cloud fill. Hi,
It always helps to check the file listing properly!
I had a section of video recorded before I made a visiual inspection later.
The NLC was bright and complex with nice features and already quite high in the sky at 22.20 UT
