Dear readers, Today I have observed a very good NLC-display in the evening hours at Schlaegl. The cloud was structured very well. Maybe tomorrow I show you images of the phaenomenon. But first I want to put a link to an image of a czech webcam only some km north of Schlaegl: webcam.sumava.eu/#WebcamImagePlace:47001;1372625700Have a nice and successful evening and morning! Best regards, Karl

Hungary also had a fantastic display! Some of my pics on flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/48975225@N08/sets/72157634412116095/Many of the Hungarian observers could see it, most of the country was clear and cloudless, only the NE part had some small unlucky region with tropospheric clouds. I hope the predawn sky would give the NLC back again!

Indeed, very nice photography from both ediacara and Karl, inspiring .. looks like there's an iridium flare or a meteor in nlcpan06303, maybe. (flickr full screen not working for me; cant zoom in).
