The NLC Observers' website is now on a new server. It's possible, as the old site worked with forwarding url's, that some users may have to update bookmarks etc. The homepage URL remains the same though: www.nlcnet.co.uk. There is also an alternative address of: www.ed-co.net/nlcnet/. For those who want to access the old site, the address to use is: www.ed-co.net/nlc/. The old site will remain available online but will no longer be updated. I'd be grateful if you could inform any NLC colleagues who are not Forum members on these changes. The new site has been redesigned and improved (the first significant upgrade in 18 years!). NLC reports (positive & negative) will now be instantly published and there is a facility to upload an image with each report. The table presenting submitted reports can now be searched. As reports will now be held in a database I'm currently looking at ways of presenting basic analysis too. The homepage has a twitter feed to relay 'early warnings' by smartphone. The site can now be translated to a wide range of languages (though it remains to be seen how Google Translate actually performs on this!). There is still a lot of work to be done on the site but the basics are now in place. If anyone encounters problems, please let me know. Similarly, if there's anything else you'd like to see on the site. please get in touch. Good luck to all for the 2014 season! Tom McEwan

The new site looks really cool, hopefully we'd have a lot of reason to visit reporting our observations! :-)
