Very nice, looks like you have the shock front; or leading edge of the flow.
Nice smooth time-lapse too - how are you doing that? Software time-compression?

The camera was first set to 15 fps, with Magic Lantern, it can really be set much longer too so the video can be hours without taking much space. Timelapse with the internal intervallometer in Magic Lantern could also be used. To get the video down to 38 sec i used a software called virtualdub to discard most frames, it's a pretty advanced process that i'm gonna look at simplifying, i'll make a guide if i can make it very simple. Ah ok thanks, I really need to buy an intervalometer ... but for short timelapse sequences it would be convenient to just compress video; I'll do some tests sometime . ..
